The Ordinance on direct deliveries provides for changes that will allow farmers to export the dairy products they produce to the market.
Until now, the EC has banned the sale of such goods outside registered outlets, such as shops.
Once the changes are approved, they will be published in the State Gazette within days.
The condition for farmers to be able to sell dairy products outside the shops is to be provided with mobile refrigerated display cases.
Farmers will have to register as mobile retailers. The refrigerated display cases, in which the dairy products will be stored, will be attached as a trailer to a car.
Stoilko Apostolov, who is the manager of the Bioselena Foundation for Organic Agriculture, explained that the newly introduced changes will affect only buffalo, sheep and goat milk, which must be pasteurized before processing.
According to Apostolov, the new changes will help nearly 30 farms in the country that produce and sell quality dairy products.
The idea is to organize farmers' markets in Sofia, Montana, Troyan and Karlovo.
550 types of cheese have been registered under this project in Switzerland.
According to the current rules, farms had the right to sell their products directly only in the area in which they work. The changes in the ordinance allow them to offer their goods in the neighboring area as well.
At the same time, the Food Safety Agency destroyed more than 40 tons of vegetables, which were dangerous because they used pesticides and other banned substances.
Most of the destroyed vegetables were imported from Turkey. Experts add that Bulgarian producers are also abusing the use of pesticides.
After the inspections, the control at the border checkpoints will be strengthened, and the production will be able to be tested on the spot in the laboratory.
The BFSA says that the most risky vegetables on the domestic market were peppers and cucumbers, and the most harmful were vegetable peels.
