The roar is a classic Turkish dessert, which has long been recognized in Bulgaria. In essence, it is a cake that is syruped with our familiar sugar syrup. Among all desserts, it can be said that roaring is one of the juiciest we can choose for dessert.
It is a perfect choice for welcoming guests or just to please everyone at home when we feel like eating something sweet.
Roaring is a delicious cake that anyone can buy from the nearest pastry shop or the nearest supermarket. But there is nothing tastier and healthier than home-cooked food. That is why in this article we present you the recipe for a wonderful and sweet temptation, namely roaring.
The products you will need for four servings of homemade roar according to a Turkish recipe, are:
1. Flour - 1 tsp.
2. Eggs - 10 pcs.
3. Sugar - 150 grams
For the syrup:
1. Sugar - 1 tsp.
2. Water - 1 and 1/2 tsp.
3. Vanilla - 2 pcs.
4. Cloves - 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
Eggs are divided into yolks and whites. Proteins and sugar are beaten in the snow. In a separate bowl, beat the yolks until white and carefully add to the egg whites, stirring constantly. Slowly add the flour to the resulting mixture. It is important to stir everything constantly so that no lumps and traces of flour remain.
The resulting mixture is poured into a pan and baked at 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven when done and allow to cool.
During this time, the syrup is boiled. Pour the water and sugar into a saucepan and bring to the boil. When the mixture boils, add the cloves and vanilla. Leave for another minute - two.
The cold roaring sprinkle with hot syrup. Cover with something so that the syrup can absorb.
However, if you decide that this roaring recipe is too boring and simple, you can add fruit to it. In the roar you can put a fruit like a pear, peach or apricot to make it even more attractive. Also well known recipes for coconut roar, cocoa roar, lemon roar.
Optionally, when serving, you can garnish it with cream or whipped cream with fresh fruit to your liking.
