There is hardly a person who does not like pie. This is a dish from our national cuisine, which is typical not only for us, but for all Balkan countries. The options are numerous, the name also changes according to which country on the peninsula we try the wonderful dough temptation.

In Turkey, the version of the pie is called burek. The well-known pasta with a different filling is sold under the name burek. The classic is the cheese filling, but it can be with minced meat and vegetables.

The most common are the Tatar burek, which is stuffed with cheese and mint. I also really like the water burek, which is made with short-cooked crusts, and the cheese, fresh parsley and butter are the filling. Baking is done in the oven, and the taste of this breakfast is great.

Very popular is the burek cigarette, which has the shape of a cylinder, and inside is the filling - most often cheese, less often with minced meat or vegetables. When the filling is pastrami and peppers, pre-fried in olive oil, the product is called pachanga burek.
