In almost every home you can find at least one bottle of vodka, brandy and whiskey. Whether because we like to drink a little (or a lot), or to be prepared for a surprise visit of relatives or friends, but this is an indisputable fact.

As vodka is an alcohol that does not freeze, at least not at the degrees of the home freezer, or we keep it in the refrigerator, or if we want to cool it faster, we put it directly in the freezer. You probably think that the colder this drink is, the more refreshing and pleasant it is for you.

The truth is, however, that it is good to find some medium, say 5-8 degrees Celsius, because with a sharp drop in ambient temperature, the density of the liquid increases. If the vodka is in the refrigerator, will look thicker in texture and will be more drinkable, but you will certainly lose a lot of the flavors and aromas of your drink.

But why don't we chill our whiskey too?

If for most people loss of vodka aromas not such an important factor (most just like to take their dose of chilled freshness), this can't be said for people who prefer to drink whiskey.

For connoisseurs, the sense of smell through the sense of smell is almost as important as the process of drinking it.

Sometimes people like it whiskey, put a lump of ice in it, because at higher temperatures alcohol releases more volatile substances and compounds and it may seem to us that the smell of alcohol is too strong.

The most important thing, however, is that you should carefully choose the type of alcohol and do not overdo it. This is true for everyone, and you will personally decide whether you care more about taste or freshness and whether you will put your bottle in the refrigerator or not.

And on the date March 27 the world notes International Whiskey Day. Cheers and consume with mood and measure!
