Although we can now buy everything from grocery stores, there are still many who want to prepare their winter food at home. Before the onset of the coldest season of the year comes the time when we can start preparing our winter food.

Pickles can be made in many different ways, but we offer two types - with cambi and red peppers. The recipe for kambi is very interesting, as kambi is pre-baked.

Necessary products: 4 kg of peppers, bay leaves, black peppercorns, 250 g of salt and sugar, vinegar and oil.

Preparation: First clean the peppers from the seeds and fill them with salt. Immediately after that shake off the salt - there will be enough left inside.

You should arrange them in a tray and leave them to stand overnight in a cool place. Juice will form in them, which you will pour and measure the next day.

To it is added the same amount of vinegar, remaining salt and sugar. All these products are boiling. Arrange the peppers in jars and put black pepper and bay leaf, then pour the cooled brine, and top the jar with oil. Seal and keep cool.

The following suggestion is for pickles with cambi, which becomes really tasty, but is prepared in a slightly different way.

The first thing you need to do is wash and clean the combs from the stalks and seeds and arrange them in a dry pan.

In each kamba put slices of carrot, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Put the stuffed kambi in the already well-heated oven to bake - after heating, the kambi will also release juice. After removing them, prepare warm and dry jars.

Arrange the combs in the jars - it is very important to do it while they are still hot, and between them you can put a few cloves of garlic.

After filling the jar, close tightly with a lid. Allow the jars to cool nicely by turning them upside down.
