For the last seven days, the Market Price Index has reported a jump in the values per kilogram of wholesale greenhouse tomatoes. On the other hand, greenhouse cucumbers have become cheaper, according to data from the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets.
Greenhouse tomatoes have risen in price by 14.8%, and for the last week their weight was traded wholesale for BGN 1.40. The values of cucumbers fell by 8.2%, selling for BGN 1.57 per kilogram wholesale.
A decrease in prices was also reported for potatoes. In one week their values have fallen by 7.4% and are already trading at BGN 0.50 per kilogram wholesale.

The carrots have kept their old prices of BGN 0.65 per kilogram, but the cabbage has risen in price by 2% and its new price is BGN 0.51 per kilogram wholesale.
An increase in prices was also registered for aubergines. They are 4% more expensive than last week and wholesale exchanges are now offered at BGN 0.75 per kilogram.
Among vegetables, the values of peppers are even lower. A kilogram of green peppers is now sold 5.3% cheaper, at BGN 0.90 per kilogram, and red peppers have fallen in price by 4%, and their new price per kilogram is BGN 1.08.
In the case of fruit for the last week, the price of grapes has fallen most significantly. It is sold 9.8% cheaper, and its kilogram is wholesale for BGN 1.20.
The prices of melons are even lower - by 9.6%, as their wholesale weight is now available for 0.75 levs. Peaches also fell in price, whose new price was 8.3% lower, and their weight was traded for BGN 0.88.
Watermelons and apples also have a drop in prices, as they are sold for BGN 1.33 and BGN 0.23 per kilogram respectively. Lemons are the only more expensive fruits that are already sold for BGN 3 per kilogram.
In the case of basic necessities, the most serious increase is registered in chicken meat. The wholesale kilogram has jumped by 3.2% and is now selling for BGN 3.92. Cow's cheese is also more expensive than last week, and can now be found at wholesale exchanges at prices of BGN 6.06.
