According to many studies the eggs, among many other beneficial substances they contain, are also a good antioxidant. What are antioxidants? These are chemicals that prevent the oxidation of other chemicals and absorb a very small percentage of the radiation from the environment.

- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, E300) - water-soluble vitamin;
- Vitamin E - fat-soluble vitamin, which is responsible for lipids;
- Selenium - a chemical element without which the body will be seriously ill.
Eggs - the best antioxidant among foods
The eggs are a source of proteins, lipids and minerals and of the amino acids tryptophan and tyrosine, which are antioxidant properties. The yolk contains melatonin, which is important for the rejuvenation of the body and participates in the creation of new cells. It also contains choline, which regulates metabolism.
Lutein is also found in the yolk, which is necessary for good vision. According to research the eggs can prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer. Eggs are also a source of calcium, vitamin A, B1, B12, D, E, potassium and other vitamins. For this reason, eggs are considered the best antioxidant among foods.
It should be noted that in the case of fried or boiled eggs, the amount of these substances is reduced by half.
