Thyme is often used in cooking - you can find it in a variety of recipes - both lean and meat. We offer you several recipes, among which there is a garnish, a more refined appetizer, basic. Here are our delicious and fragrant offerings.

Glazed carrots with thyme and honey

Necessary products: about 2 kg of carrots, a piece of butter, 1 tbsp. honey, thyme, salt

Method of preparation: Wash the carrots well and cut them into large pieces. It is good when buying them to choose medium-sized vegetables. Once you have cut them, pour them into a deep pan in which you put the butter.

Pour the honey on top and season with thyme - if it is fresh, cut it into small pieces. Once they start to fry, cook for no more than 5-6 minutes and add water - 250 ml.

Bring the liquid to a boil, then simmer until the water has completely evaporated. You should add salt and after the carrots are just fat, stir for a few more minutes and remove from the heat.

Our next offer is also something like a side dish, but it could also be served as a main course - it's baked potatoes with thyme. For this you will need about a kilo of fresh potatoes. If you find small ones, you don't need to cut them.

Put them in a bowl, after you have cleaned them, sprinkle with black and red pepper, salt, 1-2 tbsp. thyme and a little grated lemon peel. Stir by hand and pour into a pan in which you have poured olive oil. Drizzle the potatoes on top with the fat and add water (maybe beer), then bake in a moderate oven until the potatoes are soft.

Our latest offer is for an appetizer with goat cheese. You can easily serve it to guests or prepare it for an important occasion. You need goat cheese - about half a kilogram. Cut the cheese into slices - about a centimeter thick. Preheat the oven to high heat.

In a bowl, mix honey (should be liquid), thyme, a little black pepper and a little olive oil. Stir the mixture and pour over each cheese. Then arrange the cheeses on baking paper and place them in the oven. Bake until lightly browned.
