"Only the Macedonian factory knows how to make Coca-Cola, but this has been known since 2008, when Skopje Brewery again won the prestigious award," said Sean Leighton, director of beverage quality for Central and Southeast Europe.
Every year, the Coca-Cola giant organizes a kind of study of the quality of the company's products produced worldwide. Independent international laboratories determine the quality index by checking samples of beverages taken from stores around the world at random.
Experts say the Macedonian brewery is the undisputed winner in the contested battle between more than 200 competing car factories. For the second time, in just five years, Skopje Brewery has won the prestigious award.
Biliana Smilkovska, who is the general manager at Skopje Brewery, said: "Once it is possible to reach the top by accident, but not the second time." The management of the brewery emphasizes that the award is fully deserved.
It is the result of consistent investment, teamwork and maximum dedication of the company's employees. For the first time, the Macedonian car manufacturer received the quality award in 2008.
