One of the most beloved invigorating drinks in the world, coffee, is the first friend of women against stroke. In a long study, Swedish researchers found that women should drink several cups of coffee a day to reduce the risk of stroke.

The study was reported by the Daily Express, citing results that lasted 10 years and covered 35,000 participants between the ages of 43 and 83.

The researchers launched the study after their colleagues found that coffee reduced the risk of stroke in men.

Researchers from the Karolinska Institute have found that for women who drink more than one cup of coffee a day, the risk of stroke is between 20 and 25% lower than for those who consume less. Or for others who do not drink coffee at all.

Addiction does not change even when factors such as weight, diabetes, high blood pressure and alcohol consumption are taken into account.

"Opinions about coffee are contradictory. Some women think it is unhealthy and therefore avoid drinking it. However, it turns out that moderate consumption of the refreshing drink reduces the risk of diabetes, liver cancer and stroke." This was stated by Dr. Susanna Larsson of the Swedish research team.

And now a little statistic. Stroke kills twice as many women as breast cancer. 425,000 women suffer a stroke each year, 55,000 more than men. Seven out of ten women do not know that they are more prone to stroke than men.

African-American women are more likely to suffer a stroke than women of other races. Stroke is the leading cause of untimely death of Spanish women.

What are the specific symptoms of stroke in women? Sudden pain in the limbs or face, sudden sneezing, sudden nausea, sudden general weakness, sudden chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, sudden throbbing.
