Every housewife knows something in the kitchen. However, everyone has something to learn. For example, I did not know that a towel is placed under the cutting board so that it does not move when cutting. But that's another topic. Now I will tell you some tricks in the very cooking of delicious dishes that surprise our families every day.
Every woman knows or has stolen something from her mother and grandmother to make it easier for her in the kitchen. I present to your attention my 15 tricks, which make cooking a lot easier, and plus I become a better cook.
Some time ago I only needed a few drops of lemon juice, and I used up the whole fruit. Why? Well, because I didn't know that he could pierce deep with a thick needle and "make" him release the necessary amount of juice, and then just plug his "mouth", which I made with a wooden stick and leave it in refrigerator. This will last longer inside! That was the first trick.
It is the turn of the second. When I make meatballs, I put half a slice of bread soaked in water, and before that I squeeze it well from the water. Well, yes, but no! The water or milk with which you soaked the bread should not be squeezed, because they become fluffier and tastier when fried.
See what little things these tricks were hidden in, and so far I have not understood them. This became clear about the meatballs, now it's time to talk a little about alcohol. And then came the third trick - if you need alcohol for a dish, and you don't have it in the closet, because your husband drank it, 1 tablespoon of sugar and a little vinegar will do the same job. And please hide a cooking bottle.
Easter is coming soon, then St. George's Day! Everyone loves lamb, right? And to make it more tender, you can pour it with a glass of white wine, the same goes for chicken and beef.
So far there have been 4 tricks, I have already lost their number. It's time for the fifth - one day I needed fresh mushrooms, but I only had dried ones. Yes, but they don't taste like fresh, so I decided to experiment - I had fresh milk in the fridge, poured the mushrooms into a saucepan, poured the milk over them, salted them and left them for a few hours. Well, believe me, then, when I cooked them, there was no mention of the dry ones, they tasted fresh. They became great.
Trick number 6: Each of you cried while cutting onions, right? Even, I remembered a laugh: A child asks his mother, seeing her cut onions and cry: "Mom, why are you crying for onions? Are you sad that you're killing him?": D Anyway, I got carried away! So that you do not like the onion, before you cut it, clean it under running water or soak it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Interesting, isn't it? How many of you, dear ladies, knew this? Well, so far with onions.
It's the liver's turn and trick number 7. Did you know that if you soak the liver in fresh milk for a few hours, it will become much more tender and tasty when you fry it? Well, if you don't know, you already know, and if you do, at least I've refreshed your memory.
How many times, ladies, have your men grumbled that roast meat is too dry and not tender? Believe me, I know what it's like to be scared all day to make dinner, and finally to be told that in your face! But I do not give up easily. My mother told me, when roasting meat, to occasionally pour hot water or broth over it, and then rub it lightly on top with lemon. Well, believe me, there is no such taste afterwards. The meat just falls off the bones and becomes very juicy! This was trick number 8 for meat.
Here is number 9: Because I worked in a restaurant, and there everything is taken to the master and instead of throwing away the withered lettuce, we soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes and the leaves become like new. And since then I do the same thing at home, when I buy a salad and forget it without wanting to do it in the fridge.
So, we came to a trick, number 10. It has always been unpleasant and annoying for me to peel fresh potatoes. And then, realizing how easy it could be, I wanted to cry because I hadn't thought of it before. First they are immersed in hot and then in cold water and so their cleaning becomes much easier and faster.
Everyone loves the smell of fresh spices at home, right? Now I will give you a trick, number 11. When you wash fresh spices such as parsley, dill, devesil and any other green spices, their aroma can increase if you wash them with warm water. This way your house will smell fresh and without having to buy fragrances.
If I were in front of you, I would ask you to raise one by one the hands of those you hate to clean fish, including mine! I believe I will see a forest of hands. But I found a much easier way to clean this useful and delicious food. One day, instead of a knife, I tried to scrape the fish scales under running water with a new household wire! Well, believe me, the scales stuck to her, and there was no sign of me cleaning the fish. It was trick number 12. You won't have to bother with a knife anymore and you won't stain the whole sink with fish scales. Cunning, isn't it?
So, let's move on, I must have bored you already. It's time for the 13th, fatal trick. I guess there is almost no housewife who does not know this trick, but I will tell you anyway - when you cut a fresh cake, pastry or Easter cake it is good to soak the knife in cold water, and when the cake has a lot of cream, the knife is good to is soaked in hot water. Believe me, I haven't even written that much in school, but there are two more tricks I have to tell you and I won't give up until I write the last line.
Trick number 14: And you probably know that, but I will still sacrifice and tell you: so as not to bother to white dry salami or sausages, before doing so, soak them in cold water for a few minutes.
Here is the last of my tricks: If you like desalinated cheese, you should know that it is soaked in cold water so that the salt falls off. But if you want to keep it tasty and fresh for a longer time, leave it in the fridge soaked in milk.
Well, these are dear ladies from me, I can now rest that you know these tricks too! I will be happy if you share with me some that I do not know! I will be happy to share experiences!
