An international culinary festival hosted by Blagoevgrad, as well as six other cities - Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo and Sofia will be held from 12 to 28 May. The best 100 Bulgarian dishes will be presented at the culinary holiday.
The festival will be held in two stages. The first will collect recipes of various traditional dishes, and then the jury will evaluate them.
Bulgarians can present their favorite homemade recipes and flavors, traditional for the region in which they live. The event will be entitled Products made in Bulgaria.
The second stage will include 17 other countries - Azerbaijan, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Egypt, Morocco, Hungary, Poland, Israel, Venezuela, USA, Great Britain, Romania, Mexico, Croatia, India, Cuba.
Famous chefs will also visit us and the event will be celebrated a lot with food, wine and music.
In each city from the calendar of the festival will be able to buy specially made souvenirs at a price of BGN 3. The proceeds will go to charity, and the municipality will choose which cause of public importance to be supported.
