Breakfast is a very important meal - it can either make or break your day. However, many of us find almost no time for breakfast.

According to most nutritionists, it helps a person's body to wake up and recharge for the upcoming work day.

People who do not eat any food after waking up have a slow metabolism, lower blood sugar, decreased attention and impaired memory.

But what is the best breakfast? According to some experts, it should be minimal and very light - green tea with honey or a few nuts. However, others believe the exact opposite.

The French breakfast consists of a croissant, egg, orange juice, jam and coffee.

Turkish breakfast includes a loaf of sheep cheese, yellow cheese, olives and coffee. Another popular breakfast, English, is high in fat - scrambled eggs with bacon, sausages and vegetables.

There is a connection between breakfast and the climate. The caloric content of national snacks depends on how colder the climate is. The more filling should be the morning meal.

Between 7 and 9 o'clock is the ideal time for breakfast. It must be balanced, ie. to consist of 1/3 of the daily norm of proteins, 2/3 of that of carbohydrates and up to 1/5 of the norm of fats.

The proteins contained in meat, fish, milk, eggs, saturate for the whole day. Unsaturated fats are absorbed faster than saturated fats and are considered more useful (avocados, almonds, walnuts). Carbohydrates provide the energy needed to wake up the body.

The body also needs cellulose from oatmeal and wholemeal bread. Dietary fiber creates a feeling of satiety, normalizes fat metabolism, stimulates the intestines.

If a cup of coffee, milk and fresh fruit are suitable for summer breakfast, winter should be oatmeal, raisins, apples, orange or kiwi.
