The big boom in diabetes, especially in the West, is due to the fact that obesity is already in excessive limits, and in some countries, led by the United States, overweight has reached crisis levels. This is the main risk factor for diabetes and many people develop this disease not because of anything else, but because of being overweight.

The solution, of course, is to go on a diet before the problem is out of control. It should also be combined with exercise, and there is nothing better than combining it with a low-cholesterol, low-fat, low-sugar and high-fiber vegetarian diet.

And let's go back to the beginning - can we cure our diabetes by becoming vegetarians? The simple answer is yes, but this is not due to the diet itself, but to controlling sugar intake and leading to weight loss. This is the key to success! In this case, we are talking about a change in your diet, not that the vegetarian diet itself works wonders.
