For sesame oil it is known that its burning point is 175-210 degrees. It is also known to have light and dark sesame oil.
The light one is suitable for deep frying, as well as for sautéing, and the dark one - for light frying or for salad dressing.
Cold pressed oil not suitable for heat treatment and this also applies to sesame oil.
When frying, the oil should have a burning point of about 200-250 degrees, so only light sesame oil is suitable for this heat treatment. However, the oven must be set below this temperature at least 20 degrees lower.
