The accumulation of toxins in the body can be the cause of any disease. The body has a natural mechanism for cleansing from toxins, but the environment in which we live and the lifestyle we lead burden the body with unusually large amounts of toxins. Unfortunately, he is unable to deal with them on his own.

Toxins enter with the food we eat, the air we breathe, and more. We can take action by taking advantage of the effect that some herbs have on the body.

Milk thistle decoction, for example, successfully fights bloated stomachs and accumulated toxins in the liver. Pour a tablespoon of the herb with 1 tsp. boiling water.

Allow to simmer for about twenty minutes and drink - preferably three times a day before meals. Numerous studies have shown that milk thistle improves liver function and restores damaged liver.

Lemon can also be used to detoxify the body. This method is probably the easiest and most famous - you only need water and lemon. At 1 tsp. squeeze fresh juice from the sour fruit, it is desirable to do this procedure every morning on an empty stomach.

With sour fruit there is another recipe - ¾ tsp. water, lemon, 1 tbsp. olive oil. All this is broken in a blender and then partially filtered.

The liver can also be cleansed with the herb chicory. To make the recipe, you need the roots, leaves and stem of the herb.

Put 2 tbsp. of chicory in 500 ml of boiling water. Allow the mixture to simmer for a quarter of an hour. Once the decoction is ready, add 2 tbsp. honey. Stir and add 1 tsp. Apple vinegar. The decoction should be drunk warm.

Chicory was used to cleanse the liver and gallbladder in ancient Egypt. People then believed that the plant could purify the blood and completely clear the toxins accumulated in the liver.

The plant can also be used in combination with other herbs. Put equal parts chicory, dandelion roots and nettle. Then mix the herbs and pour 2 tbsp. of them in 500 ml of boiling water.

Allow the mixture to boil for five minutes and then remove from the heat, but leave covered for twenty minutes. Then divide into three equal parts and drink one part before meals.
