Somerset, an English cheese maker, is offering a £ 500 cash prize to anyone who returns 2 previously stolen cheese pies. Cheddar.
This is no ordinary cheddar, but part of the best production, which even won a prize in a prestigious cheese competition.
The judges in the show awarded the two pies, which were then displayed to the visitors of the competition.
Each pie weighs 20 kg and its retail price is 800 pounds. Unfortunately, however, both pies disappear without a trace, and with the certificates won.
Producer Rich Clotter believes that the excellent cheese was stolen to order and it is possible that it has already been exported abroad. He says it took the company a year and a half to make these cheeses, and they are among the best.
Clotter also points out that although the retail price is 800 pounds, the pies can reach a much larger amount if suitable customers are found who love the cheese.
He therefore offered £ 500 for information leading to the return of the cheese and the capture of the thieves.
