One of the best ways to welcome summer is with a refreshing drink in hand. Our suggestion for you is to make this drink homemade fruit sangria. There are hundreds of options for the preparation of this drink - with different types of wines, different fruits, liqueurs and combining them in every possible way. Here are some of these combinations:
1. Sparkling champagne with cherries. We only need 700 ml of chilled champagne and 200 g of cherries, 2 small oranges and 2 small lemons and a few mint leaves for luxury. Wash the fruits and cut the lemons and oranges into slices, remove the stones from the cherries. Pour the fruit into a jug and pour champagne over them. Put the jug to cool for 20-30 minutes. Serve cold with mint leaves.
2. Red sangria. To make it we will need 1 bottle of fruit red wine, 1/2 glass of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 tablespoons of brandy, 2 tablespoons of sugar, slices of 1 orange, 100 g of strawberries and 1 lemon. Mix the wine, lime, orange juice, brandy and sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the fruit slices and stir. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
3. Sangria of rose, citrus and melon. For this combination we will use 750 ml of rose wine, 1 glass and a half of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, 80 ml of brandy, 1 orange, 1 lemon, 100 g of sweet melon, 3/4 cup of tonic. Cut the lemon and orange into slices and the melon into smaller cubes. Mix the liquid ingredients, without the tonic, in a larger jug. Add the fruit and stir. Refrigerate for about an hour. When we take it out, we add the cooled tonic. We add ice if we want.
4. Sunset sangria. We will need 1 cup of lemon juice, 3/4 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of grated lime peel, 750 ml of chilled wine, 1 sliced nectarine and ice. In a large jug, mix the liquid ingredients again and finally add the fruit, sugar and grated rind. Stir to make sure the sugar has melted and store in the refrigerator to consume a well-chilled drink an hour later.
5. Mixed fruit sangria. We need: 1 cup fresh blueberries, 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup blackberries, 1 lemon, 750 ml champagne, 1 step lemonade, 30 ml lemon liqueur. Cut the strawberries in half and the lemon into slices. Mix all the ingredients in a large jug, stir well to dissolve the steppe, cool and serve with more ice.
