If you like to create your culinary masterpieces only with fresh products (do not use any semi-finished products, or even frozen products), then the best season to prepare an extremely tasty and light spinach cake is exactly… every season!
Because in addition to spring already knocking on our doorstep, it would also offer us the most delicious and fresh spinach you need for spinach cake tops. Of course, spinach can be found on the market in all seasons.
Sweet cake with spinach tops
For the classic recipe for preparation of spinach cakes for cake you will need 2 tsp. flour, about 1.5 to 2 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. oil, 200 g fresh spinach, 1 packet of baking powder and 1 or 2 vanilla powders.
The spinach is soaked in water for about 30 minutes, cleaned of the stalks and the coarser parts of the leaves and drained very well.

From it, together with the oil, a puree is prepared with the help of a blender or a food processor.
Beat the eggs with a mixer along with the sugar and vanilla and mix everything together spinach and oil.
The last step is to add the flour sifted with baking powder and with a wire or mixer, but at the lowest level, mix your spinach dough.
Pour it into a greased and floured pan and bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.
Once cool, you can cut the finished dough into 2 or 3 loaves. That, as we said, is the classic recipe for spinach bread. The cake cream is your choice

Here, however, we will offer you an even easier recipe, which will also be healthier, because it is sugar-free and does not use the traditional refined white flour, but flour from ground oat bran.
For this not so popular recipe you need about 150 g of spinach (again soaked, cleaned, washed, drained and mashed or finely chopped), 4 tbsp. ground oat bran flour, 3 tablespoons Philadelphia cheese, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. baking powder, salt and pepper to taste.
All this is poured into a bowl and mixed with wire until the ingredients are mixed. The dough prepared in this way is baked in the same way as described above, but for about 15 minutes.
As you can see, the second recipe for spinach cake is much easier to make, but note that due to the presence of salt and pepper to taste, it is only suitable for making savory cakes.
The ideal products that you can "implement" in spinach marshmallows, are mascarpone, cream, smoked salmon, olives, etc. A matter of choice and taste!
