Leading manufacturer of pesticides and GMO products Monsanto will be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.

Before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, several dozen human rights and environmental organizations will present evidence of how the American company systematically acts against all of humanity. The main prosecutors are Regeneration International, IFOAM International Organics, OCA and others.

According to the main accusation from the beginning of the 20th century the producer of pesticides and GMOs Monsanto has developed and released several toxins that have proven to be extremely harmful. They have caused irreparable damage to both the environment and the health of the world's population.

Among the most harmful are the chemical 2, 4, 5 T, used during the Vietnam War by the US Army, which causes cancer in humans and birth defects, polychlorinated biphenyl, detrimental to the reproductive capacity of humans and animals, persistent organic pollutant, and several others.

The legal basis for the lawsuit will be the text of the Principles of Business Administration regarding human rights adopted by the UN in 2011. A specially convened commission at the International Criminal Court in The Hague will have to assess how much Monsanto is to blame for the damage done to the environment and humanity.

If the manufacturer is found guilty, this will become a precedent that would suggest that other similar companies could be held liable.
