Cooking in the summer seems to be left in the background. Especially at a time when all fresh products are already on the market and we can buy them. We prefer a lot of vegetables, fruits and less and less some complicated cooked dishes.

But if you still want to prepare something special or have a similar occasion, we offer you three recipes for appetizers that are suitable for the summer season.

The first recipe is a kind of zucchini cake - it is prepared easily and quickly, which is a plus in the heat, as you will not have to stand on the stove. Here's what you need:

Zucchini cake with fresh milk

Necessary products: 3 zucchini, 2 eggs, green onions, oil, roasted pepper, 1 tbsp. starch, 50 ml of milk, 100 g of cheese, 1 bunch of dill, garlic

Method of preparation: Garlic and zucchini have a lot in common as flavors, but if you decide it's not appropriate or one of your guests doesn't like it, just skip it. Grate the zucchini and salt, then leave to drain. You can replace the green onion with an old one, if necessary - cut it into pieces and fry it in hot fat. Add onions, finely chopped peppers, dill and crushed garlic.

Beat the eggs in another bowl, add the starch to the milk and stir, then pour it over the grated zucchini - add the eggs and vegetables and stir. Finally, cut the cheese and place next to the zucchini.

Pour the mixture to fry for ten minutes in hot oil over low heat, and put a lid. You should take a plate larger than the pan, put it on it and turn the cake in the plate. The appetizer is delicious both hot and cold.

A variation of the appetizer is to distribute the mixture in small forms or muffin baskets. This way the appetizer will look even more spectacular and stylish.

The next suggestion is again with zucchini, but this time you will prepare them differently - wash them and cut them into long pieces. Then spread them with the pre-prepared marinade of dill, garlic, oil, salt and a little oregano.

Bake on the grill on both sides and when it is ready, roll each of the pieces, putting a small amount of cream cheese in it, sprinkle with dill, a little salt and pepper. Roll the zucchini on a roll.

Our latest appetizer includes mushrooms, which may not only be mushrooms, but if you have, you can add others - the more mushrooms, the more fragrant the appetizer. Here is the recipe:

Aromatic mushrooms with spices

Necessary products: 5–6 tsp. mushrooms, 4 cloves garlic, 3 onions (maybe 2 heads old), oil, salt, pepper, parsley, rosemary and basil

Method of preparation: First cut the mushrooms into pieces. Put the crushed garlic together with the finely chopped onion in the hot fat. Once stewed, add the mushrooms, and after about 10 minutes season with spices. It is good that the green spices are fresh. Finally, salt and season with black pepper.
