Appetizers and hors d'oeuvres on New Year's Eve should be numerous - both in species and quantity. No one will last all night on an empty table and most of all - without an appetizer. So when preparing the New Year's menu, it is best to focus on this element in the first place. Here are some suggestions:

Stuffed mushrooms with melted cheese

Required products: 7-8 pcs. mushrooms, 200-250 g of melted cheese, 1 tbsp. grated bacon or finely chopped ham, fresh parsley, 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, 4-5 tbsp. oil.

Method of preparation: The mushrooms are washed and their stumps are carefully removed. They are cut very finely. In a bowl, mash the melted cheese, add the sausage, finely chopped parsley and finely chopped stumps.

Mix well and fill the mushrooms with the prepared mixture, not overflowing - smooth with a spoon. Melt the butter and pour it into a pan together with the oil, and arrange the mushrooms in it. Bake in a preheated 150-160 C oven until browned.

In addition to the typical and familiar salads, you can surprise the celebrants with this:

Festive salad with lots of vitamins

Necessary products: 1 small to medium lettuce, a bunch of sorrel, 200 g arugula, a few leaves of red cabbage (optional), 200 g walnuts (lightly roasted), 200 g blue cheese.

For the dressing: 75 ml of lemon juice, 35 ml of olive oil, 1 tsp. honey, 2 pinches of salt.

Method of preparation: Vegetables are cut in bulk. The dressing spices are mixed until homogenous. Pour them over the kneaded vegetables and mix well.

Divide the salad into 4-6 portions and sprinkle with blue cheese cubes and roasted walnuts.

And a great leek salad, the perfect appetizer for any drink:

Necessary products: 2-3 stalks of leeks, 3-4 hard-boiled eggs, 1 small box of sour cream, 2-3 roasted peppers, parsley to taste, salt.

Preparation: Finely chop the leeks. Add the boiled and finely chopped (not too much) eggs. Mix with cream, salt and parsley. Easy and tasty.

And so the red beet typical for this season must come into use.

Ingredients: beets, carrots, potatoes, parsley, red onion, olive oil or vegetable oil, lemon or vinegar, salt, pepper.

All vegetables, except red onions, are boiled. All vegetables, along with red onions and parsley, cut into small cubes and mix in a bowl. Optionally flavored with lemon or vinegar, olive oil or vegetable oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Suitable appetizers and hors d'oeuvres are also cold cooked. The easiest, if you do not have time, is to get several types of sliced appetizers from the store and just arrange them in a large plate. This way you will have more time to prepare their appropriate decoration, for example, which would also look spectacular.
