Lemonade with ice is a refreshing summer drink, and the good thing is that we can prepare it at home. Apart from enjoying a truly natural taste, we can also break its standard look. This will make it a completely new fruit drink.
This can be done by adding various fruit juices to the traditional recipe for homemade lemonade. We just need to know the exact proportions.
The standard recipe for lemonade is:
1 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar, 5 cups cold water. Then we will just add any fruit we want, observing the following ratios:
- lemonade with watermelon: 5 cups of fresh watermelon;
- pink lemonade with peaches: 3 peaches, which we make fresh or grind with a blender and 2 bunches of mint, which we cut;
- strawberry lemonade: 1 cup and a half ground strawberries;
- lemonade with raspberries and peaches: a handful of raspberries and 3 peaches, which we blend;
- Lemonade with mint and lime flavor: 1 cup and a half of fresh lime and 2 bunches of chopped mint;
- Lemonade with pineapple: 1 glass of pineapple juice and the juice of one squeezed lime;
- Lemonade with lavender: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup lemon juice, 7 sprigs of lavender, 1/2 cup lime juice, 2 tbsp. honey;
- Lemonade with pomegranate: 1 1/2 cup pomegranate juice;
- fresh honey lemonade: 1/3 to 1/2 cup honey.
The drinks we receive will be enough to fill 10 to 12 glasses. And they will be perfect to cool off on a hot summer day. We can add ice to the lemonade, and if we do not want to dilute its taste with it, we just have to put the jug in which we have prepared it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
