According to the January data of the National Statistical Institute for Inflation in Bulgaria, no annual change in prices in Bulgaria has been reported.
Expenditures for non-food products in Bulgaria amounted to 34.1% last year. Those for foodstuffs are slightly less - 33.6%. In theory, this means that the Bulgarian has improved his quality of life.

The data are for the period from October 2014 to October 2015. They definitely show positive progress in terms of the quality of life of the people in the country, based on the cost structure of Bulgarian households. This brings us one step closer to the European standard of living, experts say.
