Artificial fragrances are harmful - it is advisable to use their natural equivalents, although they are a little more expensive. Our health must always come first.

Do they really have a carcinogenic effect and how dangerous are artificial sweeteners really?

The first and most important thing we need to know is that they have absolutely no nutritional value and also - they are not absorbed by the body, it is these qualities that make them dietary.

For these reasons, they were much preferred by women who constantly monitor their weight and keep their slim figure, but after all this information about the carcinogenic effect, people were shocked.

In addition, the sweetness in the sweetener causes a strong appetite and if you fail to control it, your diet will not have much effect.

Aspartame (or E951) was discovered in 1965 and is better known to people as the Nutra Suite. It is used in over 6,000 products. Years ago, it was said that aspartame was the most dangerous of the artificial sweeteners and that it led to cancer. Up to 3.5 g per day can be taken.

According to Dr. David Katz, there is a more serious and real chance of getting cancer from cigarettes than from aspartame. This sweetener is harmful, it contains toxic amino acids, but according to Dr. Katz, the only reason it is really dangerous is that it is much sweeter than sugar - more than 300 times.

Cyclamate (better known as E952) was discovered in 1937, has no calories and is about 50 times sweeter than sugar. It is officially banned in many countries because not all of its ingredients have been tested. Cyclamate can cause kidney problems and it is not recommended to exceed the dose of 0.8 g.

Saccharin (E 954) was discovered in the distant 1879. And this sweetener has been banned many times, but it is still the most used of all. A disadvantage of saccharin is its initial metallic taste, but for this reason it is usually combined with other sweeteners. Whether saccharin is carcinogenic is still unproven. Maximum safe amount - no more than 0.2g.

Products that contain preservatives, artificial flavors and sweeteners and even processed fats should not have a place on your table. Even if they do not harm you instantly, the accumulation in the body will affect your health.
