- Decoction of dried bark of viburnum - 1 tsp. dried bark is boiled for 5 minutes in 300 ml of water, filtered and drink 1 cup 3 times daily before meals;
- Decoction of dried fruits - 1 tbsp. dried fruit boil for 10 minutes in 400 ml of water, leave for 10 minutes, strain and drink 1 glass of wine 3 times daily before meals;
- Infusion of dry bark - 1 tsp. dried and crushed bark is poured with 250 ml of boiling water, left to stand for 15 minutes, filtered and drunk in sips;
- Dried fruit infusion - 2 tbsp. dried fruits are poured with 2 tsp boiling water, left to stand for 2 hours, filtered and drink 1 tsp. 3 times a day.
You can make an alcoholic extract of 100 g of freshly picked fruit - pour them into a bowl and pour 500 ml of alcohol, leave in the sun and after 2 weeks strain and use for acne.
The red viburnum is a highly branched shrub, reaching a height of 1.5-4 m. The bark of the old stems and branches is cracked, and the young stems are gray-brown, smooth with a reddish tinge.
The fruits of red viburnum ripen in July, they are stone, oval, shiny, light red, juicy with a very bitter taste, as big as a pea. They usually have 3 seeds each. They ripen in September and October.
The plant is found in rocky places, near moist and shady deciduous forests and shrubs up to 2400 m above sea level.
