Just as corn, beans and hot peppers are associated with Mexican cuisine, and the use of a large number of different spices is typical of Arabic cuisine, so Japanese has its own preferences.
Most of the products used in the Land of the Rising Sun are typical of most Asian countries, but there are also those that you can find only in Japan, or those that are widely used in the preparation of Japanese dishes. Here are some of them:
1. Rice
It is divided into gluten-free and gluten-free and mainly short-grain rice varieties are used.
2. Fish and seafood
Without them, the famous Japanese sushi would be unthinkable. Apart from it, however, fish is prepared and consumed in any other form. The Japanese are also famous for cooking Fugo fish, which is very poisonous.
3. Fide
The most used types are soba (thin buckwheat noodles), udon (thick wheat noodles), somen (wheat thin noodles) and hammer (looks like semi-finished Chinese spaghetti).
4. Soy sauce
This is probably the most common sauce used to flavor rice, noodles, vegetables, fish and more.
5. Tofu
It is present on the Japanese table in the way that cow's cheese is present on the Bulgarian one. Unlike our cheese, however, the Japanese cheese is made from soy.
6. All kinds of vegetables
The characteristic of Japanese cuisine is that vegetables are eaten raw or subjected to a very short heat treatment. Preference is given to mushrooms, turnips and the so-called Chinese cabbage, which is actually Japanese.
7. Fruits
They are not served separately as a dessert, but are present in the preparation of various dishes. Especially popular are the Japanese pear, called ours, and the paradise apple, known as khaki.
8. Algae
They are dried and used mainly for making sushi. The most famous are the seaweed nori, wakame and kombu.
9. Sake
Although everyone knows that this is a type of Japanese brandy for direct consumption, there is also sake, known as mirin, which is used only for cooking.
10. Ginger
Both fresh and canned or dried ginger is widely used as a spice. There is no sushi to be served without pieces of pickled ginger.

Products From Japanese Cuisine
The preparation of Japanese cuisine is impossible without the original Japanese products. One of them is the lotus root, also known as rencon. It tastes sweet and crunchy. When cut, it looks like a flower. Without it, fried vegetables in Japanese and tempura are unthinkable.
Traditional Dishes And Appliances Used In Japanese Cuisine
Every world cuisine prepares its traditional dishes not only with certain products and specific technology, but also with the use of specific kitchen utensils and appliances. For example, Moroccans prepare their couscous in a special dish known as couscous, the Maghreb Islam cooks mostly in a clay pot known as tajine, and in Mexico they prepare their corn tortilla tortillas.
Main Products In Spanish Cuisine

Chinese And Japanese Cuisine - The Main Differences
No matter how advanced our world is, we often succumb to manipulation. To this day, some people do not distinguish between different types of Asian cuisine, which is unforgivable. Perhaps we are more accustomed to putting the denominator of Chinese and Japanese cuisine, which are very different in nature.
