The second group will be products on the market with a high sugar content - more than 40 grams per 100 grams of goods. These are milk chocolates, chocolates, natural juices, soft drinks, ice cream.
The third group of products are those with a high content of caffeine or taurine such as energy drinks, energy shots and some types of alcoholic beverages.
The fourth group includes products containing hydrogenated vegetable oil - margarine, fried foods and all imitations of dairy products.
The tax can bring up to 150 million additional money to the state treasury, and Krasen Kralev is convinced that within 4-5 years the first positive results of the reduced consumption of harmful foods will be seen.
