Apple cider vinegar is one of the products that are highly recommended in most diets because it is useful, and thanks to these useful properties it speeds up the metabolism and weight loss.

Unfortunately, the vinegar that is offered to us in retail chains is not the best choice for flavoring our salad. It is filtered to a small extent, which reduces its useful properties.

When production of apple cider vinegar citric acid, flavors and colors are often used. That is why it is better to do it at home than to choose the easy way - to rush to the store.

The products needed for the preparation of apple cider vinegar at home are one kilogram of apples (sweeter), 300 grams of sugar or honey (honey is recommended because it is the most natural product). Method of preparation:

1. The choice of products is extremely important. Choose a market or a village to buy honey and apples from instead of the local supermarket. To be completely sure of the quality of honey, you can buy it candied and then melt it, because we all know that real honey is candied and does not stay liquid for long.

2. Wash the apples well. Clean the inside (seeds) and everything unnecessary from the top and bottom. Cut them into pieces and leave them until they begin to acquire the familiar brown color.

3. Dissolve honey (sugar) in boiled warm water.

4. Sterilize a large wide-necked glass jar. Pour the apple and syrup pieces into it so that it covers them about five centimeters.

5. Place a saucer on top of the apples to hold them in the syrup, and cover the dish with cheesecloth that you have folded in several pieces or a towel. Leave it in a dark place at room temperature for about four days.

6. Check regularly, because if there is even mold on the surface, it means that the temperature is too high and you need to find another place. Remove it with a plastic spoon.

7. On the seventh day, squeeze the apples well and discard them. Pour the resulting liquid into a well-washed jar, not filling it to the top. Cover again with a towel and leave for another six weeks, shaking it regularly.

8. After the sixth week, strain the finished product well homemade apple cider vinegar and pour it into a pre-sterilized jar. Store in a dark and cool place.
