As we well know, the taste of white wine is strongest and most pleasant when it is served chilled. However, it is not recommended to keep the wine in the refrigerator, as it generally needs dark spaces with a suitable moderate and constant temperature.

Sometimes uninvited and unexpected guests surprise you and you worry that you have not been able to prepare their favorite drink in the right way. Don't worry - with the materials at hand and some good advice from wine experts, you will be able to handle it without any problems.

According to expert Mark Oldman, a small bucket or bowl can be very useful in such situations, filling it almost to the middle with ice cubes, after which you need to add another 2-3 fingers of water over the ice. The water will fill the cavities between the lumps of ice, thus leaving no air pockets that do not cool the wine. You put the bottle in and only after 4-5 minutes you will see that the method definitely works. For even faster results, you can add two or three pinches of salt to the ice water.

Another winemaker shares from his own experience that the easiest and fastest way to cool his wine is by wetting kitchen paper with which he wraps the wine bottle. After only 10 minutes in the freezer, wrapped in this way, the bottle cools down as if it had spent at least an hour there.

If you anticipate that you may find yourself in a similar situation and you will not have any time to cool down, you can preventively keep an envelope with grapes in the freezer. You just put a few in the glass when you pour the wine, and they change its temperature, but without diluting it and damaging its taste (like ice does).

Remember that the divine drink is consumed slightly chilled, not ice cold, so without unnecessary worries - by the time you accommodate the guests and tell each other a few stories, you will have the opportunity to serve them full glasses.
