There is a decrease in prices for eggs and fresh green salads after the Easter holidays, according to the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets.
There are two objective reasons for this - on the one hand, most of the retail chains woke up with large unsold quantities of these products, which forced them to lower their prices so that they could sell them before their expiration date.
The second reason is their increased seasonal supply and competitive supply of environmentally friendly domestic products.
Markets and markets are filled with larger quantities of fresh greenhouse cucumbers, which led to their reduction by nearly 7.2%. Currently, a kilo of fresh vegetables is traded at a price of BGN 1.54.
Meanwhile, there is an increase in the price of cabbage, which jumped by almost 5% in just one week - up to 0.90 BGN / kg, as well as in the price of carrots, which can currently be bought at a price - 1.05 BGN / kg, which is 8.2% more expensive than the previous week.
There is a minimal jump in the prices of minced meat, which rose to BGN 5.04 / kg, potatoes and apples, which are offered for BGN 0.90 / kg and BGN 1.37 / kg, respectively.
The price of Vitosha yellow cheese, which can currently be found for BGN 10.54 / kg, has dropped by less than half a percent.
There is no change in the prices of sugar, which is currently kept at a price of BGN 1.95 / kg and flour type "500", which is traded for BGN 1 / kg. The oil continues to be sold for about BGN 2.62 per liter.
