Arabic cuisine, known for the variety of spices it uses and its centuries-old traditions, is rightly renowned as one of the most impressive. The way food is prepared, the products used and the dietary habits in the Arab world are closely linked to the Islamic religion.

However, each country has its own traditional dishes, culinary techniques, products and typical spices in the design of the menu, which depend mainly on the natural resources of the area. Here is what is important to know about the national dishes of some of the Arab countries:

1. Morocco

Couscous is considered to be the national dish of this country, famous for its architecture and beautiful beaches. To prepare it, a special dish called a keskes is used, without which real Moroccan couscous would not be authentic. The very name of couscous comes from the sound that is heard during the cooking of semolina grains. Unlike in Bulgaria, where we mostly make breakfast for children from couscous, in Morocco couscous is considered a main dish and is combined mainly with lamb and chicken.
