Chicken is one of the most preferred and consumed meats in the world. It is light, dietary and suitable for people of all ages. One of the few animal products that are not contraindicated in various diseases. In addition to its pleasant mild taste, it is a source of valuable nutrients.

The proteins with the independent amino acids in them, the vitamins, the minerals it contains, make it a valuable food product. It is low in fat and suitable for nutritious diets.

After the Indians domesticated the wild hen, the ancestor of today's chicken quickly spread around the world and is now bred everywhere. In the national cuisines of all countries, chicken occupies an important place, as each nation brings its own color to the recipes.

There are some recipes that have gained worldwide fame. These are the Indian tandoori chicken, the Italian kachatore and the Hawaiian chicken. Of course, each nation is proud of its own contribution to recipes for cooking chicken.

From everyone chicken dishes typical for the separate national cuisines we must first give place to those who are valued all over the world.

Indian tandoori chicken is a dish in which the processing of poultry meat is done by roasting in an oven. It is called a tandoor, which gives the name to the specialty. In addition to chicken, the recipe can include other types of meat, pre-marinated with Indian spices and yogurt.

The marinade gives the typical, typical of Eastern cuisine the taste of chicken. Ginger, cloves, garlic, coriander, cumin, garam masala are the spices that create an explosion of taste sensations that will send you straight to India.

The Italian chicken kachatore well represents the taste of the chicken achieved after frying the meat. Here again there are spices, but also vegetables such as tomatoes, garlic, onions, peppers, pickled mushrooms and wine. This is a dish that in Bulgaria we would define as a hunting stew, translating the very name of the recipe and its taste.

The Hawaiian chicken presents a slightly strange combination of chicken and pineapple for the Bulgarian taste. However, it gives aroma and juiciness to the meat, which cannot be achieved in any other way, and when we add a touch of sweetness, a real symphony of taste sensations is obtained, which have made the recipe so popular all over the world. In this recipe, the meat is again processed by roasting.
