Necessary products: 1 cup of rapeseed oil, 1/2 cup of flour, 2 cups of okra, coarsely chopped, 1/2 small diced onion, 1 egg, 1/4 tsp. whole milk, 1 tsp. grated cheese, 1/4 tbsp. hot red pepper, salt, black pepper.
Preparation: Heat the oil to medium heat. In a large bowl, mix the flour, okra, onion and hot pepper. Mix well. In a small bowl, beat the egg with the milk until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
The result is added with the milk to the okra, stirring constantly. Add the cheese and stir again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
From the mixture scoop small piles, which are placed in the oil. Each of them is lightly pressed with a spatula. Fry for about 4 minutes on each side. If they turn brown quickly, reduce the heat. Drain the prepared meatballs, preferably on kitchen paper. Sprinkle with spices if desired and serve.
