Processed chicken can be harmful to the body. Such conclusions have been reached by American medics.

Surprisingly, the greatest danger to health, according to scientists, is not fried, but grilled chicken. Baking food on a direct fire, as well as various types of additives in them such as nitrites or pesticides, increase the risk of developing cancer.

The grill has a powerful carcinogenic effect - when meat or potatoes are exposed to a direct flame, the so-called "pyrolysis" begins and the products acquire carcinogenic properties.

In the local products prepared in this way, the researchers found the most compounds, which they said were carcinogenic. Cancer is caused by three main types of chemicals in food, collectively called heterocyclic amines.

Thus, scientists who have conducted various studies are adamant that the extremely high cooking temperature is a major culprit for the formation of dangerous particles in meat. These substances are reduced to some extent by certain spices and sauces added to meat.

The advice to the hosts is in no case to allow the meat to be toasted in the oven. Because blackened meat contains even more carcinogenic chemicals. Its consumption leads to bladder cancer.

Also worrying is the fact that recent studies have found that all red meats increase the risk of triggering colon cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer and pancreatic cancer.

The good news is that small amounts do not harm the body. Increased consumption, according to doctors, means 90 or more grams of meat per day for men, and 60 or more grams for women.

For by-products, the definition of high quantity means 30 grams consumed five or six days a week for men or 2-3 days a week for women.
