Melon fruit salad for the whole family
Necessary products: 1 melon, 1 apple, 1 pear, a handful of raspberries, a handful of blackberries, a handful of strawberries, a few fresh mint leaves, 1 tbsp melted honey, 1 tsp lemon juice, whipped cream or ice cream for decoration.
Method of preparation: Cut the melon into two halves, using one half as a bowl to serve the fruit salad. To do this, remove the seeds with a spoon and, if necessary, dig a little from the inside of the fruit. Peel the other half of the melon, cut into pieces and place in a bowl. Add to it peeled and sliced pear and apple, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. Drizzle them with the mixed honey and lemon juice and mix the fruits very carefully. Transfer them to a bowl of melon and garnish the fruit salad with ice cream or cream and mint leaves.
Wonderful icy delight of melon
Necessary products: 1 large melon, the juice of 1 lemon, 100 g sugar, mint leaves, mint or basil.
Method of preparation: The melon is cut into larger slices and the peel is carefully removed, but not discarded. The inside of the melon is mashed and mixed with sugar and lemon juice. This mixture is poured into a bowl and left for about 3 hours in the freezer. Remove, mix well again and transfer to the refrigerator for another 2 hours. When the time is up, grab it carefully with a spoon and pour the mixture over the slices of melon peel. You will probably have some left over from the mixture and you can use it to decorate the plateau on which you will serve the ice slices. Garnish with fresh petals of any of the listed spices.
Aromatic melon and mango with fresh herbs
Necessary products: 1/2 sweet melon, 1 mango, 130 ml water, 150 g sugar + 1 tbsp sugar, 1 lemon peel, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp grated ginger, a few fresh mint leaves.
Method of preparation: Make sugar syrup from the water, ginger, half a lemon zest and 150 g of sugar. After boiling, stir on a low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. When the syrup cools, add the lemon juice and mint leaves, finely chopped. Mix well, strain the syrup and remove the ginger and mint. Peel and slice the melon and mango into beautiful slices, arrange it on a plate, pour the sugar syrup over them, leave them for 30 minutes in the fridge and serve.
