The classic pie is made with home-made crusts, from those that our grandmothers make perfectly thin, with lots of eggs, fat and cheese.

Add yogurt or carbonated water. Nowadays, few housewives are engaged in peeling - it can happen on holidays, but in everyday life we all rely on ready-made bark.

They may not be the same as the homemade ones, but they are also delicious and the pie becomes great. Although the cheese pie is a classic recipe, there are a few things we can add to the filling to refresh and change it.

One of the options is to make it with some green leafy vegetables - dock, nettle, sorrel. You may not have tried, but it works quite well. Add a little cheese to the vegetables so that they do not become unsalted and the vegetables start to turn sour.

In addition, you must first fry your dock, nettle or sorrel in a little fat. If you make it with sorrel, it will acquire a very slight sour taste, and in combination with the cheese it turns out great.

Great pie filling will also be obtained if you use yellow cheese. But since you will put quite a large amount, you can mix it with a little cheese.

The yellow cheese must be grated. It is best to grate it on a coarse grater. Add a little basil or a little oregano - it goes with both cheese and yellow cheese.

If you are a meat lover, you can add minced meat - to some extent, it will look like lasagna, but still with traditional pie crusts.

You need a head of onion to fry together with the minced meat and a little black pepper to taste. You can replace onions with leeks and add a little savory as a spice. You can also use chicken instead of minced meat.

For vegetarians, it is a great idea to prepare the pie with stewed or fried vegetables or with vegetarian minced meat and tofu. Incredibly tasty and sweet pie can be prepared with Turkish delight and dried fruit, which is best soaked in water beforehand.

The popular pie with mayonnaise has many variations. Here is an option that you will like and in which there are other products:

Pie with mayonnaise and ham

Necessary products: 1 packet of pastry crusts, 1 box of table mayonnaise, 150 g of ham, 200 g of cheese, 200 g of yellow cheese, 4 pcs. eggs, water, oil

Method of preparation: To clarify that if you do not want to put ham, you can add sausage to your liking. It also becomes delicious with sausages. Cut them into small cubes, crush the cheese and grate the yellow cheese - mix them in a bowl. In a pan put fat on the bottom and top two leaves, then sprinkle with stuffing. Arrange the pie until the crusts and stuffing are done.

It is important to finally finish with the crusts. Do not add fat between the leaves, because you will use mayonnaise. In a separate bowl pour the mayonnaise, 1 tsp water and eggs - beat them well to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Then cut the pie into pieces and preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Just before you put it in the oven, pour the egg-mayonnaise mixture over the pie. Bake until golden brown.
