This means that it is necessary not only to choose what products to eat for diabetics, but also how to treat them thermally and in what quantities to consume them.
This narrows down the choice of what to prepare for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but at the same time it is extremely important to learn to eat properly if you want to succeed in the fight against diabetes. That's why we decided to offer you some dinner ideas that are suitable for both diabetics and all people who want to eat healthily:
Fish skewers in fennel marinade
Necessary products: 1 kg of white fish fillet, 3 bunches of dill, a few sprigs of green onion, the juice of 1/2 lemon, 4 tablespoons olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation: Dill and green onions are finely chopped and mixed in a bowl with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. All the ingredients of the marinade are mixed well and the fillets on both sides are well spread with it. Leave in the fridge for about 4 hours, after which the fish is cut into pieces, pounded on skewers and grilled or baked. Served with green salad.
Stuffed tomatoes
Necessary products: 7- 8 tomatoes, 2 red onions, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1/2 bunch dill, 2 eggs, 1 slice of rye bread, 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation: Tomatoes are hollowed out so that they can be stuffed, and the inside is put to boil until it thickens. Quickly fry the finely chopped onion, grated bread and finely chopped dill in olive oil. When soft, add tomato sauce, eggs, salt and pepper. Fill the tomatoes with this mixture, arrange in an oiled pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in a preheated oven.
Casserole with mushrooms and cheese
Necessary products: 3 tomatoes, 200 g mushrooms, 1 red onion, 350 g skimmed and unsalted cheese, 2 cloves garlic, 3 eggs, 3 tsp olive oil, savory
Method of preparation: Take 3 pots and put on their bottom 1 tsp. olive oil, sliced tomatoes and onions, chopped mushrooms, cheese and again tomatoes. Add a little garlic and put the pots in the oven for about 45 minutes. Then remove the lids, put 1 egg on top, sprinkle with savory and leave for another 5 minutes. The pots can be served both hot and chilled.
