The appetizer in winter is considered one of the most important components of the table. The most important thing is that it is not very heavy or entirely local, because there will be no room left for the main course. The most commonly consumed appetizers in Bulgarian homes are finely chopped sausages. But here are some ideas for a few more interesting and conceptually prepared winter appetizers:
Leek salad
Necessary products:
2-3 stalks of leeks, 3-4 hard-boiled eggs, 1 small box of sour cream, 2-3 roasted peppers, parsley to taste, salt.
Method of preparation:
Finely chop the leeks. Put the eggs finely chopped inside, mix with cream, salt and parsley.
Catino appetizer
Necessary products:
500 g pork, 150 g mushrooms, 70 ml. oil, 60 g old onions, 30 ml. lemon juice
Method of preparation:
Cut the meat into small pieces like a kebab. Stew it in oil with a little water until soft. Add onion and finely chopped mushrooms. Add more water and salt. Stew the dish over low heat until the meat and vegetables remain fat. Finally, sprinkle with lemon juice, pepper and salt to taste, then serve.
Mixed winter appetizer
Half a package of pasta spirals, ham cut into small pieces, pickles, also cut into small pieces, 1 box of small corn, a little mayonnaise (per eye), 1 tsp. mustard and seasoning for salad preferably.
Fresh cauliflower salad
Necessary products:
cauliflower, 1 cup yogurt, 2-3 cloves garlic
Method of preparation:
The cauliflower is cut into small roses. The garlic is pressed into the yoghurt and salt is added (maybe a little oil or olive oil). Pour the milk over the cauliflower and the salad is ready.
Appetizer with sausages
Necessary products:
7-8 medium-sized canned or homemade pickles, 3 smoked sausages, 1 onion (or 2-3 sprigs of fresh onion), 3-4 sprigs of parsley, salt, vinegar, oil
Method of preparation:
Pickles and sausages are cut into circles, about 5-6 mm thick. Onions and parsley are finely chopped. The products prepared in this way are poured into a deep transparent glass container. The salad is topped with a dressing prepared from spices. Stir and leave for a while in the refrigerator.
No matter what the appetizer, it is important to be consumed with the allowable dose of alcohol for the season, as well as in the company of loved ones.
Enjoy your meal!
