According to American scientists, the hunger hormone causes an impulse that makes us eat even when we are not hungry. It's just that the hunger hormone keeps us chewing and we can't find the strength to resist it.

Scientists conducted experiments with mice to understand how dietary preferences change at different levels of the hunger hormone ghrelin.

Mice that were overdosed on ghrelin preferred to stay in a room where they had previously been fed fatty treats.

The other participants in the experiment, who had normal hormone levels, showed no preference for the other room.

Scientists believe that it was the ghrelin that made the mice look for greasy food, because the pleasure of swallowing it was imprinted in their memory. And it did not matter that the room was empty, because the animals associated it with delicious food.

According to researchers, the human brain reacts in the same way. It only remains to understand how exactly the brain regulates hormone levels, which determines whether a person will be trampled and after he is hired or will stop before he swells to burst.
