The taste of tofu it is not very pronounced, completely natural, but it easily accepts the tastes of other products. Whether you prepare a dish with tofu, which will be sweet, spicy or baked, depends entirely on the culinary imagination.

The most important thing in cooking tofu are the spices that give it flavor and aroma. When used properly, no one will know that the dish is made of tofu.

Tofu can be salted, stewed, baked or used for stuffing. It can also be larded like meat and acquires almost the same taste.

It can be eaten as cheese or used as cottage cheese or cheese in the preparation of buns, cheeses and puff pastry. It is also used in savory cakes or as a filling in vegetables for salads.

Tofu can replace up to 80% of other products. In the East, they call it "boneless meat" and turn it into whatever they can think of. As it is of plant origin, it can also be used to prepare vegetarian dishes or during fasting.

For the filling of sweet cakes, mix tofu with melted chocolate. Use it for salad as a substitute for cottage cheese - mix finely chopped tofu with chopped parsley, green onions and a little mayonnaise.

Prepare meatballs by replacing half of the minced meat with tofu - this way they will become juicier and lower in calories. You can fry lightly tofu cubes, cut a lid, carve part of the inside and fill with pieces of seafood or vegetables.

You can simply bake a plate of tofu in a non-stick pan greased with a little fat. Bake until it gets a nice tan and turn on the other side. You can choose beforehand tofu marinade, which is to your taste - spicy, mustard, various exotic spices or green ones. The choice of flavoring tofu is entirely yours.
