Boiling eggs is a difficult task, especially if the goal is to keep the shells from cracking. It is a difficult moment when we boil Easter eggs and find out after we have boiled them that they are all cracked.

The disappointment is mostly in the eyes of the children, who are looking forward to the holiday to get together and eat properly. But in order for such unforeseen situations not to happen to us, it is enough to follow a few steps.

1. Before we start describing how eggs are boiled, let's say how they are not boiled. Do not take the eggs out of the refrigerator just before boiling them. If you do, they are guaranteed to break. Let them absorb the temperature in the room and only then switch to cooking.

2. It is good that the eggs are not completely fresh when you boil them, because later half of the egg white remains on the shell. If you can boil eggs that are about 3 days old.

3. Another important question is when to put the eggs in the water. Some sources recommend that we do it after it boils, but most of the advice is to put the eggs in the still cold water and only then boil them.

4. We start arranging the eggs in a saucepan - choose a smaller one. They must be placed in one row, only at the bottom.

5. The water should be about a finger above the eggs.

6. Put 1 teaspoon of salt in the water while it is still cold. Some housewives also add a tablespoon of vinegar to "catch" the paint, which will later be painted. This is in case you boil eggs for Easter.

7. Put the water together with the eggs to boil. After boiling, some hosts reduce the heat, others keep it the same. Our suggestion is to reduce it if you have not boiled eggs before.

8. After turning, you notice the time depending on what kind of eggs you want to make - hard-boiled or soft-boiled. In addition, the time depends on the size of the eggs. To have liquid yolk and hard egg white, boil the eggs for 4 minutes. One minute more (5 minutes) if you want the core of the yolk to be loose. For hard-boiled time is 8 minutes.

9. After the allotted time, remove the eggs from the hob and place the pan and eggs under running water for about a minute.

10. Then place the eggs in a bowl of cold water to cool. The goal is to be able to hold them in your hand.

11. If you are preparing eggs for Easter, skip the cooling, that is, leave them for a short time in running water to stop the cooking process. However, the eggs should not cool completely, because they will not be able to "catch" well from the paints.

And one tip if you boil eggs for Easter and they are slightly cracked - in case the cracking is small and there is no protein spilled out, do not give up the egg. When it cools slightly, the crack will be almost invisible, and after painting it will not be visible at all.
