Instructions:

Dry the cumin and fennel seeds in a small pan over low heat for about 5 minutes or until the cumin seeds darken by a few shades. Add asafetida and stir for a few minutes.

The pan is then removed from the hob and the mixture is ground in an electric coffee machine until a powder is obtained. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Store in an airtight container away from heat and light for up to 2 months.
