A folklore festival of fertility and an exhibition was held in the village of Krum, Dimitrovgrad municipality. The harvest of nature was presented at the harvest of producers from the region.
In the exhibition-bazaar, which also had a competitive character, the farmers presented their bizarre fruits and vegetables, as well as ritual cakes and breads. The event was attended by representatives of seven community centers from Dimitrovgrad municipality. Ten farmers from the village of Krum also took part.
The guests of the fair were impressed by the presented aubergines, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkins and potatoes. They all had to go under the watchful eye of the jury, which had to weed out the winners.
In addition to an exhibition-bazaar, a drawing competition was held during the Gifts of Nature fair, in which 22 children demonstrated their creative skills. A special guest of the event was the chairman of the municipal council Stefan Dimitrov, who greeted the participants.
Due to the unfavorable meteorological features, some changes had to be made. The rains forced the participants to move from the park to the Chitalishte hall, but this did not prevent the whole program. Singing and dancing groups took care of the fun, which the audience welcomed with joy.
The traditional fair Gifts of Nature in the village of Krum is held for the ninth consecutive year. At the end of last summer, producers from the municipality of Dimitrovgrad gathered again to present their most exotic creations.
During last year's edition of the festival, the audience was speechless at the sight of the giant zucchini and mini aubergines that people from this area had grown. Also on display were interesting tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, cucumbers, grapes and more.
One of the biggest attractions during last year's Fertility Festival was a giant zucchini that was more than two meters long. The unique vegetable was grown in the village of Uzundzhovo, where there are other crops of impressive size.
Such a harvest as ours is nowhere else in the world, the participants in the Gifts of Nature are convinced.
