Analysts predict a decline in some of the most popular beer brands after the merger of two of the world's leading companies in the industry. This was stated by Philip Gorham in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

A few weeks ago, the two major breweries, Anheuser-Bush and UABMiller, announced the merger. It is in their enterprises that some of the most popular and consumed beers from all over the world are produced.

The unification of the leaders in the industry will be completed in 2016. With the completion of this deal, the single company will hold 30% of the share of beer worldwide.

Due to the large share and the possibility of the company becoming a monopoly on the market, it will be closely monitored by the antitrust authorities.

We already see this in North America. Probably something similar will happen in Europe. I do not rule out that even in Australia they will pay attention to the company, Gorham told BNR.

These reasons are enough to not expect a big increase in popular beer brands.

In the beer market there is a lot of competition with brands produced locally, and this will not allow a record rise in prices.

Experts are adamant that beer can be expected to become cheaper by the combined large company, because larger quantities of their beer will be ordered and their production costs will be lower.

Recently, Antarctic Nail Ale offered the most expensive beer on the market. A bottle of this brand of beer sells for 1850 dollars, and its initial price was lower - 800 dollars.

The special thing about this type of beer is that it is made with ice water from an iceberg in Antarctica.

Cleaner water can hardly be found anywhere else in the world, the company said.

The funds raised from the limited series of beer will be donated to charity. All sales proceeds will go to the Sea Shepherd Conversation Society.
