Casseroles are a quick and easy way to prepare something delicious for the whole family. With a combination of several products you can get a real gastronomic pleasure, and if you use potatoes as a main product, you will cook for pennies. We offer you several combinations, thanks to which potato casserole becomes a memorable culinary experience.
Casserole with potatoes and bacon
Necessary products: 1 kg. medium-sized potatoes, 50 g melted butter, 1 tbsp salt, 300 g finely chopped bacon, 200 g sour cream, 200 g yogurt, rosemary and pepper to taste
Method of preparation: The potatoes are washed very well and put in salted water to boil. After the water boils, it is good to reduce the temperature, because this way the potatoes become tastier. With a fork you can carefully test when they are ready, so as not to cough.
Once the potatoes have cooled, peel them, cut them into cubes or slices and place them in a pre-greased pan. It is good to pour a little melted butter over the potatoes themselves, add the bacon, season them with the listed spices and mix them. Finally, mix the cream with the yoghurt, try again and add more salt if necessary. All this is put in a preheated oven at 220 degrees and bake for about 40 minutes.
Potato casserole with mushrooms
Necessary products: 1 kg. medium-sized potatoes, 50 g melted butter, 250 g finely chopped mushrooms, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp universal spice, black pepper to taste, 1 tsp cumin, finely chopped dill
Method of preparation: Peeled potatoes are cut into slices and placed in a baking tray. Add butter, mushrooms and spices (without dill) to them and mix everything very well. Add a little water and place the pan in a preheated 220 oven. Once all the products are ready, grate the cheese and leave it in the oven until it melts. It is good to put a little more cumin on top and fresh chopped dill.
Vegetarian potato casserole
Necessary products: 1 kg. medium-sized potatoes, 500 g peeled and sliced spinach, 50 g melted butter, salt to taste, 1 tbsp flour, 2 eggs, 1 cup yogurt, parmesan and black pepper to taste
Method of preparation: Washed potatoes are cut into cubes and boiled in salted water. Once they are almost ready for consumption, they are taken out, peeled, cut into circles and arranged in a tray. To them add the butter, spinach, universal spice if desired and black pepper. Mix everything well and finally pour the mixture of beaten eggs, flour and yogurt. Place in a preheated 220 degree oven and when the casserole is ready, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
