Breakfast is a very important meal - it can either make or break your day. And since the rule is that breakfast is plentiful, we will not be so hungry at lunch and we will eat half of the previous portions.

And for dinner it is also clear - eat no later than eight hours or until the sun sets, and in small doses so as not to weigh us down at night. But let's take a closer look at these rules and see if they are real.

Nutritionists believe that the highest activity of the digestive system is in the early morning hours. With each passing hour this activity decreases.

A study was conducted in which 93 overweight women took part. They were divided into two groups and subjected to different diets containing 1400 calories. The menu of some included breakfast of 700 calories, lunch of 500 calories and dinner of 200 calories.

The other group's division was: breakfast - 200 calories; lunch - 500 calories; dinner - 700 calories. At the end of the experiment, the results were very interesting, although the amount of calories was the same for everyone. The group, which ate a hearty breakfast, lost significantly more weight, especially in the hips.

And since we need to eat a lot in the morning, it's good to think about what food to include in our morning menu. First of all, the food should be tailored to the individual needs of your body.

This can be determined in consultation with a nutritionist. And the fact that breakfast should be plentiful does not mean that it should be in huge quantities and poor quality food. Bet on fresh and healthy foods.

Lunch follows. It should be more modest than breakfast, but enough to give you strength for the rest of the day. However, it is also mandatory, because if you miss it, by the evening you will be extremely hungry and eat large amounts of food, which will affect you negatively.

For dinner you should eat small and light foods. An overloaded stomach can cause insomnia and even nightmares. In addition, a hearty dinner causes heaviness in the stomach. It is recommended not to have dinner after eight o'clock in the evening.
