The traditional autumn fish festival in Nessebar will start on October 31 and will last until November 2. This year, too, various fun games and a fish soup competition have been prepared.
The Fish Fest Autumn Passages will show how useful and healthy food is fish, which occupies a traditional place in the menu of Bulgarians. The festival will open with a festive bazaar of fish and other seafood.
During the 3-day festival, visitors will have the opportunity to make sea souvenirs for themselves or as gifts for their friends.
During the holiday there will be a raffle with a big prize, which is kept as a surprise for now. Those interested will be able to take part in a quiz, where they can take a retro photo with the huge fish caught in the Nessebar Bay.
The organizers of the event have also planned to hold the fun game Gold Coin, where participants will be able to test their skills for reading messages left in a poetic text.
At the festival, the chefs from the fishing boats in Nessebar will compete in the preparation of the most delicious fish soup. The masters will show proven tricks in the preparation of the soup. Guests will be able to taste the prepared food completely free of charge.
Culinary temptations will be prepared by the women's club Makedonka, which will show traditional fish recipes preserved over time.
Guests from all over the country are expected to arrive for the holiday, and fishermen promise to treat themselves to the most delicious Black Sea fish from the last catch. Lovers of fresh fish will be able to choose between fresh black grouse, horse mackerel, bonito and mullet.
In addition, visitors will receive valuable advice on how to prepare delicious fish.
All events of the autumn festival will be held in the interval 11-17 hours at the port of Nessebar. Additional information can be obtained in the city itself in front of the old town hall and in the Sochi hall.
