Stew the onion in the oil until it becomes transparent. Add the ham and salt to taste and simmer for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and whipped cream. Add the okra and grated Parmesan and simmer for another 3 minutes.
It is very easy to prepare chicken with okra.

The okra is drained from the water and added to the legs. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 20 minutes, shaking the pot without opening the lid. If necessary, add a little warm water.
