On Monday, the WHO released a new blacklist of foods that cause cancer. Among them are white, red and all processed meats.

The agency's data show that they lead to the development of colon cancer and a number of other ailments. According to them, they are as dangerous as cigarettes and alcohol.

However, our experts disagree. In the show Hello, Bulgaria, Professor Baykova declared such allegations to be extreme and even untrue.

While WHO specialists cannot determine the safe dose of meat at the moment and even if there is one, the recommended dose of 160 g of sausages per day has been observed in Bulgaria for years.

Professor Baykova challenges the final conclusions of the commission. According to her, processed meats are dangerous when smoked or grilled or grilled.

Kiril Vatev, owner of a sausage company, is considering the increased risk of colon cancer in vegetarians. It is in no way different from that of people who eat meat.

The fear of consuming certain foods is what makes them dangerous and carcinogenic, Bulgarian experts are adamant. Everything must be taken in moderation. When eating meat, it is good to combine it with vegetables, as they absorb carcinogens.

Regarding the amount, Vatev gives an example with honey. No one doubts its benefits, but when we eat a jar of honey, we get glycolytic shock.

Among other things, Bulgaria is one of the countries with the least meat consumption, so Bulgarians should not worry about the exported data, the experts conclude.
